How we handle your enquiry, project brief and contact details.

Who is responsible

Juno Web is the trading name of Matthew Edwards, a sole trader and the controller of the personal information described here. Contact us at hello@juno-web.co.uk about this notice or your information.

Information we collect

When you enquire, we collect your name, email address, business description, website address, project interests and any notes you provide. A linked project brief may also include your business name, goals, requested features, timescale, telephone number and contact preferences. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information through these forms.

Why we use it

We use your answers to assess your request, reply, prepare a quote and, if you become a client, plan and deliver the agreed project. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, that is our lawful basis. We also use limited technical information for our legitimate interests in keeping the website secure and preventing abuse. Form acknowledgement is not an agreement to marketing, and we do not add enquiries to a marketing list.

Where it goes

Form answers are saved in our website database on DigitalOcean hosting in London. We use Zoho Mail to receive and reply to business email. Resend sends a notification to our inbox containing a private dashboard link, not the full questionnaire. Those providers process the information needed to supply their services. We do not sell your information.

Overseas processing

Our service providers may process some information outside the UK, including through support services and infrastructure. Contact us for information about the relevant processing locations and any applicable transfer safeguards. These arrangements are reviewed as part of our provider management.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client projects are normally removed from the website database after six months without recorded activity. Client project records are reviewed separately and retained only as needed to deliver the project, deal with queries or disputes and meet applicable legal obligations. Deleted database records may remain in rotating backups for up to a further 14 days. Email correspondence has a separate retention review, so removing a website record does not automatically remove a mailbox conversation.

Storage on your device and technical logs

The forms use browser session storage to keep an unfinished draft on your device. Clearing that storage or closing the browsing session removes that local draft. Admin access uses a necessary sign-in cookie. Hosting may record connection details such as IP addresses and request information; rate limiting uses a hashed network identifier temporarily. We currently do not use advertising cookies or visitor analytics trackers.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. Email hello@juno-web.co.uk so we can consider your request and any legal obligations. Providing project details is voluntary, but we may be unable to reply or quote without enough information. We do not use your enquiry to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Questions or complaints

Please contact us first so we can help. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office through ico.org.uk.
